These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Storm Deck. By creating an account, signing in, or using Storm Deck in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Storm Deck.
Storm Deck is operated by Seven X Holdings LLC ("we", "us", "our"), an Oregon limited liability company. Our service is designed for rural property owners, land stewards, and small fire operations teams who want a single dashboard for weather, fire detections, GPS, and incident tracking.
You agree not to:
You own the data you put into Storm Deck — your incident logs, property boundaries, notes, and uploaded files are yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data on your behalf solely to operate the service for you and your team.
We will never sell your data or use it to train third-party machine learning models without your explicit consent.
Storm Deck aggregates data from public and commercial sources including Xweather, OpenWeatherMap, RainViewer, NASA FIRMS, NIFC, WildCAD-E, Oregon RAPTOR, AirNow, the National Weather Service, and others. We do not own or control this data, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or continued availability. If an upstream provider removes data, changes its terms, or goes offline, the affected Storm Deck features may become unavailable.
Storm Deck is sold on a per-property subscription basis. Pricing, included features, and user limits are disclosed at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and no partial refunds are issued except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions keep their current rate through the end of their active billing period.
Storm Deck is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. We do not warrant that:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Storm Deck, 7x Holdings, or any of our officers, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, loss of life, loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption — arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) Storm Deck, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Storm Deck, 7x Holdings, and our officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any third-party rights, or any content you upload to the service.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the service. On termination, your right to use Storm Deck ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Indemnification) will continue to apply.
Upon request at or before termination, we will provide a machine-readable export of your incident logs, personnel records, locations, parcel overlays, and lightning strike data. Data export requests must be made within 30 days of account termination; after that window, data may be permanently deleted.
We may modify or discontinue Storm Deck — or any feature of it — at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be announced on the login page or via email. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We will not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, power outages, internet service disruptions, acts of government, pandemics, or failure of third-party data providers. During any such event, our obligations under these Terms are suspended to the extent affected.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wasco County, Oregon, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
